The layout of the room was amazing and tastefull, big bathroom, not to close to the bed, which is good for a bit privacy. Although i can imagine for elderly people it is a bit hard to get in and out of the bath. The tiles and edges getting a bit dirty and old. Deep cleaning would do wonders. Location is very good, only two stops from Gare de L'est. Amazing restaurants in the neighbourhood, staff is friendly. Overall clean and spacious. Would definitely come again.

Wonderful, helpful staff who were friendly throughout my stay. Location is great, far enough from Gare du Nord that it’s not sketchy but still within 10min walk to station. Metro stops close by. Galleries Lafayette 15min walk opposite direction, overall one of my favourite neighbours I’ve stayed in Paris (less touristy). Room/ bathroom was spacious, modern and very clean. I will definitely be booking Hotel Montholon when I return to Paris.

Clean, quiet, in a decent area, friendly and helpful staff. Room was decorated nicely and was clean.

Location is excellent. It is close to the metro stations and there are many good restaurants around within 10 min walk.

Location: Montholon Square itself has a great variety of trees including the remarkable 'Maidenhair tree' (little changed since the Jurassic, and the only living thing to have survived within a mile of the Hiroshima A-bomb blast). Also, the steps from rue Pierre Semard up to rue Bellefond passing over it have bags of atmospheric Parisian charm. The ground floor breakfast room looks out onto these features.

Wonderful stay! We celebrated our birthdays and got a room upgrade and chocolates from the lovely man in the reception. We got to the hotel very early and he insisted we wait 30 minutes and gave us the great room that we got :)

Really great location, short walk from gare du Nord with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The room was smaller than imagined but really nicely decorated and had everything you needed still. The bathroom was exceptional with a walk in shower. Small shop next door for drinks and amenities which was great too.

The location was excellent, just 5 minutes walk from Gare du Nord, right in the centre, and was a bus stop right at the front door. The room was super comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again when back in Paris.

Location is perfect, staff are very friendly and helpful. Room size is good for Paris with a big bathroom
